A Note from Our Founder, Iljit Kaur
As an Indian woman living in the UK, I often found myself at the intersection of two rich but contrasting worlds, one woven in the traditions of my ancestors, the other racing forward in modern rhythm. Meera London was born from that space in between.
It started with a longing to see our stories, our rituals, and our roots reflected in fashion that speaks to who we are today. Fashion that doesn’t ask us to choose between heritage and individuality, but instead, honours both.
I created Meera London to be more than a clothing label. It’s a love letter to the South Asian diaspora, especially to the women who carry multiple identities with grace and grit. Through our bespoke designs, I wanted to offer a canvas for self expression. Through our rental service, I wanted to make that expression more accessible, more sustainable, and more inclusive.
